Welcome to "Point and Health," the English extension of my Spanish blog "Punto y Salud." I am Dr. Franklin Fernández, a Cuban specialist in family medicine and pediatrics with a postgraduate degree in pediatric nutrition. With over 25 years of experience, including 11 years in Ecuador, I have dedicated my career to the care of children and adolescents.

Since June 2018, I have been writing on "Punto y Salud" "Punto y Salud" Blog, (Spanish) to bring families closer to vital health topics. My goal is not only to discuss pediatric issues but also general health matters. I share interesting case studies from my consultations to help families navigate various health scenarios with their children.
